About
It was a wonderful time when I had the opportunity to co-organize the „Alamanach” event, which narrated the history of the city of Tomaszów Mazowiecki. The city has a very interesting history, but during the transition period, it was led to decline. Despite the negative aspects of its history, the Museum was able to boast incredible collections and present the city’s history anew.
Objective
I wanted to break away from previously imposed patterns and add more color to the city’s streets. I aimed to highlight what the city is most renowned for. Through hours of conceptual work, I created graphics using collage techniques, incorporating contemporary fonts. The predominant color was pink, which stood out distinctly against the city’s gaudy or black-and-white elements.
Working with the Museum in Tomaszów Mazowiecki was a wonderful experience. My fondest memory is searching for inspiration in the museum archives. That scent, those memories!
